(I UNDERSTAND) Professional dancers do not attend the cast reveal/contract signing on September 12th. Mr. Valiev will communicate casting to professional dancers individually, and dancers invited to perform, he will also provide a specific contract with applicable information. Please disregard references to cast fees as they apply to non-professional dancers.

(I UNDERSTAND) I understand that if I am selected to be in the cast, that as a non-professional dancer, I am responsible for paying cast fees at cast reveal & contract signing on September 12th. Typical cast fees are $100 per role. For families of multiple dancers, the maximum cast fees is $500 for immediate family members. Cast fees are considered normal for non-profit ballet companies for non-professional dancers and performers.

Attendance Agreement(I AGREE) All dancers accepting roles for The Nutcracker acknowledge that they are expected to attend all scheduled studio rehearsals at Denton Ballet Academy, all Tech Week rehearsals at TWU Margo Jones Hall, and all Performances at TWU Margo Jones Hall.(I AGREE) Studio Rehearsals begin as early as September 19th at Denton Ballet Academy. Studio rehearsals are typically held on weekend afternoons beginning at approximately 1PM (advanced dancers may have added rehearsals). Studio rehearsals wrap up on December 6th.(I AGREE) Tech Week Rehearsals (dress rehearsals) begin on December 8th and wrap up on December 10th at TWU Margo Jones Hall. Rehearsals start as early as 4:30PM.(I AGREE) Performances are held on December 11th, 12th, and 13th.(I AGREE) Schedules are posted at the studio and online, and communications are made via Facebook, text and email. Some dancers may be cast to perform in only 1-2 performances. Cast type (i.e., A/B, C/D, C, D) determines the performance date/time.

Volunteer AgreementI understand that all families are required to volunteer in some capacity, and I commit to meeting this requirement.

Photo & Video Release

Festival Ballet of North Texas is recognized as a type 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and would like permission to use photo and video images of volunteers and performers to promote and advertise events and activities. It is through these promotions that we can share the legacy of our production with the community.

By signing this agreement, you agree to grant full rights to Festival Ballet of North Central Texas and its staff to use photo and video images of you and/or your child. Photos are used for promotional purposes of Festival Ballet of North Texas only. Photo and video images will be used in brochures, websites, advertisements and social media. Photos may appear with or without names.

Please note that Festival Ballet of North Central Texas does retain professional videography and photography services for dress rehearsals and performances since personal photography and videoing is prohibited. While purchase of products offered is optional, acceptance of any role acknowledges and accepts that full cast participation is required for these services.
